Globally, more funds are used for coal mining than copper mining
According to the new data of the Ministry of industrial(B&R X20DO9322 I/O Module, Allen Bradley 1756-EN2T Communication Module, Schneider BMXDDO3202K Discrete Output Module) information and resources, 4790 metal and mineral capital projects (including mining, processing and refining) are under construction worldwide, with a total investment value of 443billion US dollars. There are also 10586 projects under active planning and engineering -- with a total value of $1.11 trillion.
Compared with the depth of the industry recession in 2017, the top seven miners have now increased their capital expenditure by more than 50%. Govreau believes that "there is no reason not to continue to increase expenditure in the next few years or longer, because the company hopes to increase production to meet the expected demand growth caused by the energy transformation."
